Bullying: From the Playground to the Workplace

Wednesday, October 19, 2011 | 8:00 – 10:00 a.m.
720 N. Marr Road, Columbus, Ind.

Workplace bullying often involves an abuse or misuse of power. Bullying behavior creates feelings of defenselessness and injustice in the target and undermines an individual’s right to dignity at work. In a recent study of U.S. workers, 41.4% of respondents reported experiencing psychological aggression at work in the past year. This represents 47 million U.S. workers. (Schat, Frone & Kelloway)

Learn to identify the patterns of bullying in the workplace, implement specific plans to address those patterns and develop skills to teach assertiveness.
